Not only do I have clean water to drink, but I have the option to put ice in it or heat it up using my stove or microwave. If I do not like my water plain, I can choose to steep one of a variety of teabags in it or filter it through some favored coffee grounds. I can add sugar to it or I can pour it over a hot chocolate mix and enjoy a dessert like beverage.

If my headaches, I can go to the cabinet and cut the pain using medication from one of three varieties of non-prescription over-the-counter pain killers. I can drink something with caffeine to reduce the swelling and constrict the blood vessels in my head or I can drink caffeine to offset my addiction. I can put an icepack on my neck or my forehead to relieve my aching head.

After supper, I can choose to read a book, watch television, work on a project, or type here on the computer all because I have electricity. I do not need to go to bed when the light in the sky fails.

I am thankful not only can I do these things but I have a wealth of choices in what I do. I have more than many people on this planet.
