forgiveness

Oswald Chambers challenges us not to be thankful for things but to be thankful in things. I can truly say I am thankful for living inside God's forgiveness. I've received it freely whenever I ask and I can honestly say that with the exception of my MIL I give it freely. Sometimes it is harder to give than others and I know I must forgive my MIL too - I just don't know how.

But today - I can say - I am thankful for forgiveness and for God allowing me to live in forgiveness and to dwell in the safety of His forgiveness even when I screw up.

I can only pray that I can learn another lesson in forgiveness and learn how to forgive my MIL - I imagine the relief will be sublime.

Grace and forgiveness are at the heart of the Gospel and are also sometimes the most difficult lessons to learn!
